Vital Information
Terms & Conditions for Travel
Fixed flight times: This is a daily fixed-departure helicopter trip, therefore the times at which each destination departs are predetermined. Passengers will therefore be deemed to be NO SHOW if they fail to arrive at the designated ETDs on each day of the tour.

COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES: In accordance with the government's current mandate, passengers and the helicopter company must follow COVID protocols. If the government's regulations are not followed, travelers may not be allowed to board and may not receive a refund.
HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMITATION: The helicopter can only carry a maximum of 450 kg of weight, not including baggage. Depending on the load and temperature, passengers are admitted on board. The pilot's decision is final. Every passenger's combined weight must stay within this restriction. Passengers must thus give us their precise weights at the time of booking.

PASSENGER WEIGHTS: At the time of booking, passengers must provide their accurate weight. The passenger or passengers would be removed from the aircraft and the Heli-tour would be canceled without any compensation if there was a change in weight from the supplied weights at the time of travel that would exceed the aircraft's 450 kg weight carrying capability.

OVERWEIGHT CHARGES: LIMITED TO PER SEAT - There are overweight fees of INR 2500 per kilogram. Those who weigh more than 75 kg will be charged for this. That being said, excess weight (up to the helicopter's overall weight restriction) will only be computed as the total excess weight above the total allowed weight of all group members put together, meaning that acceptable weight = 75 kg x (number of passengers).

In addition, any disparity in the passengers' weights discovered before takeoff would be collected and subject to charges based on the overweight criteria.

Baggage allowance: Each passenger is only permitted to check one bag, up to a maximum weight of five kilograms. Suitcases and other luggage bags are not allowed to be carried in the helicopter. As a result, all travelers receive duffle bags from our personnel the day they arrive.

We reserve the right to rotate passengers amongst our helicopters in order to maintain the proper weight for safe flying in the hills, given the limited weight carrying capacity of our aircraft. As a result, a group of people may not be able to board the same helicopter.

Arrival date: Reservations for our Chardham 4N5D Heli-tours are made according on departure date. Passengers must, however, arrive in Dehradun one day before the departure date. Our plan includes a complimentary one-night stay in Dehradun on the arrival day, making it a five-night/6-day tour. The tour's second day marks the start of the actual flying.

SEATING CAPACITY: Our helicopters can accommodate up to 06 passengers and 1 crew member.

INFANTS: Infants weighing under 12 kg or less are admitted free of charge. The child's birth certificate and ID will be examined to confirm the child's age.

DISCLAIMER FOR BAD WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE
In addition to bad weather, there are a number of other Force Majeure factors that can affect flying in the hills, such as delayed air traffic clearances and permissions, VVIP movements, Indian Air Force valley flying (NOTAM), sudden technical issues with the aircraft, crew illness, or delayed passenger reporting at helipads. In light of this, travelers need to be ready for any possibility and difficulty that may arise.

In order to minimize any difficulty in the event that travelers become stranded at any of the destinations due to inclement weather or other unforeseeable circumstances, we strongly urge our passengers to allow an extra day for travel.
Additional Conditions and Policies for Char Dham Helicopter Reservations 2026 Airport transfers are only available on the day of arrival in Dehradun and on the final day of the tour, which is the sixth day.
Passengers will be responsible for paying any donations, tips, pitthu, palki/pony, and porter expenses.

All Indian passengers must provide copies of their AADHAR cards, while foreign passengers must share copies of their passports.

Every Dham has a crew of its own from Helicopter Company. It is up to the passengers to ask for help if they need it.
There is really bad network connectivity at Harsil & Badrinath. The two primary telecom providers that operate in these areas primarily—though not always—are BSNL and Jio. Nonetheless, our employees will always be there to help the guests.
Since every temple in the Chardham area is situated at a high altitude, travelers are encouraged to bring medication. They are also urged to pack warm, woolly clothing because the temperature might drop significantly in the evenings and at night.

MEDICAL EMERGENCIES: We shall not be responsible for any passengers' on-the-ground medical emergencies. Therefore, before starting the yatra, passengers are respectfully urged to contact a doctor and get a medical check-up done in your own benefit. A traveler must get a medical check-up primarily if they have a medical issue.
For safety concerns, patients suffering from psychiatric problems, such as depression, obsessive compulsive disorders, or any other mental ailment, will not be permitted to board flights.

CARRIAGE BY AIR ACT, 1972: Helicopter Company regulations pertaining to non-international carriage conditions (passenger and baggage) are applicable to the carriage. These regulations are framed in accordance with The Carriage by Air Act, 1972, and Notification regarding application of the non-international carriage. With certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc. as notified in the Govt. of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as otherwise specified, the provisions of sections 4,5, 6 and the rules contained in the second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972 will govern the liability of the company for damage sustained in the event of a passenger's death or wounding or any other bodily injury suffered by the passenger or by his registered baggage during the course of carriage by air.

Helicopter Company maintains the right to deny service to anyone who we believe poses a risk to safety when flying, including those who are violent, rowdy, drunk, ill, or mentally unfit. There won't be a refund for such passenger(s).

The following VIPs are not eligible for our heli-tours:

The Supreme Court's C J I
- State governors
- Chief Executive Officers

State Ministers Designated by the Cabinet
