Booking tickets for the Kedarnath Helicopter Shuttle The Kedarnath Helicopter Shuttle service departs from their trekking location. You can take a helicopter to Kedarath, which is about 270 kilometers from Dehradun Airport, from helipads in Guptkashi, Phata, and Sitapur. The trip takes about 10 to 12 hours in total. This is the entire Ghat Road segment. Depending on the weather, 5 to 9 helicopter operators provide their services every day from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Therefore, it is best to have your pre-booked helicopter ticket with you and arrive at the helipad according to your reporting time. If not, you can go to Gaurkund and take a horse or doli for the Kedarath temple. It is very difficult to get a ticket on the spot at the helipad because palki and horse fees are higher than the helicopter ticket, so everyone wants to go by helicopter, so the helipad stays full.

Policy for Infants
Infants under two years old and weighing 12 kg are transported for free. The child's ID or birth certificate must be examined in order to verify the child's age. Youngsters older than two will be considered full ticket.
Allowance for Baggage
There is extremely little room in the helicopter for luggage, and each passenger is only permitted to bring one handbag (soft bags or duffel bags) that weighs no more than 5 kg. It is completely forbidden to use trollies.
Weight Limitation for Helicopters
For five passengers, the total weight should not exceed 350 kg, and for six passengers, it should not exceed 420 kg. Depending on the load and temperature, passengers would be taken on board. The pilots' decisions are final. If you weigh more than that, the airplane will not be able to take off, and your trip would be canceled right away with no reimbursement. To prevent such a scenario, it is essential that you give us the precise weight.
When making a reservation, guests are required to provide their accurate weights. In the event that a guest's weight changes during their trip from the weights they supplied, potentially exceeding our aircraft's weight carrying capability, they will be removed from the aircraft and their heli-tour will be canceled without a refund.
Guests weighing more than 75 kg would be subject to overweight fees. The reason for this is that we operate in extremely high-altitude terrain, where the airplane can only carry 420 kg of weight. As a result, we lose seats on our shared flights because of overweight customers. The fee for excess weight is INR 1800 per kilogram.
It is essential to weigh in when getting into the helicopter. In order to avoid any inconveniences during the flight or the possibility of being deboarded or restricted owing to the aircraft carrying limit without a refund, please make sure the body weight that has been supplied is exact and correct.
There are no restrictions on what you can wear when you visit the temple. You are free to dress whichever you like. Women can dress in Salwaar Kameez, track trousers, and other clothing.
Advisory
Since the helicopter will be boarding at roughly 6 AM, it is recommended that you arrive in Dehradun one day before your trip begins.
It would be prudent for you to purchase return train or aircraft tickets for the following day (keep at least one extra day in hand) to avoid any unanticipated events (such as weather changes or some kind of operational or technical issues) that could be an unfortunate reason of your delay. If a flight, train, or other event is missed, there will not be any reimbursement.
In Chardham, every temple is situated in a region with a high elevation. It is advised that travelers bring their everyday medical kits with them.
The Greatest Season
May, June, September, and October are the finest times of year to take the yatra by helicopter.
Communication
In most locations, Airtel Mobile is superior to BSNL, even though all private mobile phones have coverage.
Passenger Guidelines
All Indians are obliged to carry their AADHAR card, while international nationals must have a passport.
Given that all of these Dham locations are situated at a very high altitude, which could make some passengers ill, it is advised that travelers bring a medical and first aid package.
In order to ensure good health, passengers are also encouraged to have a complete physical examination performed three to four months before the Yatra.
In the event of an emergency, it is recommended that passengers have a tiny bottle of oxygen. All medical stores in the area carry these bottles.
Badrinath Dham has frigid temperatures at night, despite being warm and pleasant during the day. Make sure to pack some bulky woolen apparel, such as sweaters, shawls, and down coats, as well as accessories, such as mufflers, woolen gloves, and socks.
Every traveler participating in this yatra needs to be in good physical and medical health.
Guests weighing more than 75 kg will be subject to overweight fees. The reason for this is that we operate in extremely high-altitude terrain, where the airplane can only carry 420 kg of weight. As a result, we lose seats on our shared flights because of overweight customers. The fee for excess weight is INR 1,500 per kilogram. One day before to the Journey date, this will be decided. However, there will not be an additional fee for overweight passengers if the combined weight of the six passengers is less than 420 kg.
There can be no more than five or six passengers in one helicopter.

The company will make an effort to visit every location within the allotted time if the trip is not completed in that amount of time and guests are unable to visit one or more Dhams because of inclement weather or technical issues. However, the company's liability shall be restricted to returning any unused sector or sectors if this is not feasible.
If a Force Majeure event cancels the entire tour, a 100% refund will be given, less any additional services guests may have received and flight preparation fees of INR 2,500 per person each sector.
If inclement weather, technical difficulties, or any other uncontrollable force majeure event causes the flight to be canceled or delayed, the firm will not be held responsible in any manner. Q4. Does the Chardham Temple have a facility for VIP darshan?
Ans.Indeed, tickets for the VIP darshan are offered at every temple.
Q5. When is the optimum time to take a helicopter to Chardham Yatra?
Ans.The months of May, June, September, and October are the ideal times to visit Chardham Yatra. Steer clear of the July and August wet seasons.
Q6. Do Hyderabad, Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and other cities offer helicopter flights to Chardham?
Ans.The Char Dham Temples are not directly accessible from any other location in India. Flying up to Dehradun and starting your journey from there is the greatest alternative. We can make things easy for you by booking this ticket as well if you like to avoid that inconvenience as well.
Q7. Does the Char Dham Yatra require registration?
Ans.It is necessary for all those traveling by road to register. Passengers do not need to register when traveling by helicopter.
Q8. What sort of attire should I pack?
Ans.As such, there are no stringent dress rules for Temple visitors. Since it is a place of worship, you should wear comfortable, appropriate clothing. You are free to dress whichever you like. May and June are summer months; the weather is warm and pleasant, so you can dress comfortably. But because of the high altitude, the weather is erratic and can suddenly turn from sunny to rainy, making it cool and even freezing. Bring a decent pair of wool socks, gloves, a warm cap, and a waterproof raincoat and pants.
Q9. What Kind of Food?
Answer: During the yatra, you will be served only vegetarian meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
Q10. What sort of lodging will be offered at various locations?
Ans.Your bundle will determine the accommodations that are offered. We guarantee the comfort of each and every traveler. But the concept of comfort in these isolated Himalayan regions is fundamentally different. Since most of these hotels in high altitude areas are closed for six months and only open when the yatra starts, you should not expect a luxurious five-star establishment. In this case, the hotels we will provide will be the best.
Q11. What kind of car will we take to get to the temple in Badrinath and Gangotri?
Answer: To tour these temples, you will be given an Innova automobile driven by a skilled professional.
Q12. Yatris Age Limit?

Women who are more than six weeks pregnant are not permitted to participate in this yatra.

Ans.Yes, additional passengers must accompany you on your helicopter tour. Although it would be incredibly costly, there is an exclusive helicopter service for the Chardham Yatra.
Q14. Do you provide people with impairments with Chardham helicopter service?
Ans.Indeed, we do offer our services to people with disabilities.
Q15. How can I reserve a helicopter package for the Chardham Yatra?
Ans.Booking your Chardham helicopter service is very simple. You can book it online by clicking the "book now" button and following the instructions. Alternatively, you can fill out an inquiry form, and a travel consultant will call you and send you the package via email or WhatsApp. Once all of your questions have been answered, you can book the package and pay in advance by RTGS, NEFT, Net banking, cash deposit at the bank, or dropping a check at the closest bank.

Ans.To get to the Dehradun helipad, the starting site for the helicopter ride to Char Dham Temples, you will be given a taxi service and a driver.
Q17. What health precautions are advised for the helicopter Chardham Yatra?
Ans.If you are healthy and under 60, there is no such health advisory. Since it is a helicopter tour, you will not have to put in a lot of effort because the most of the work will have be done. However, because of its extremely high elevation, the temple may cause motion sickness or high-altitude sickness. To obtain the best idea, it is best to speak with your doctor about your helicopter plans in advance if you are still not sure. Maintaining adequate hydration at all times is always a smart idea.
Q18. Will a guide accompany us during the entire Yatra?

Q19. What is the maximum altitude at which the Chardham Yatra Helicopter can operate?
Ans.You will fly through beautiful valleys and across elevations ranging from 3,000 to 6,000 meters above sea level.
Question 20. What times are helicopter tours operated?
Ans.From Dehradun, the Chardham Yatra helicopter service departs at 6:30 AM.

Ans.The distance from the airport is 25 kilometers, and depending on traffic, it takes around an hour to get there.
Q22.Does Chardham Helicopter Tours have a weight restriction?
Ans.There is not much room for individuals in helicopters. In light of this, Chardham Helicopter trips allow up to 5 kilos per guest.
Q23. Is there anything else that could cause my helicopter to be delayed?
Ans.Indeed, a variety of issues can cause last-minute changes. This covers everything from operational problems to weather variations, Air Force and Civil Aviation clearance, VVIP movements, Indian Air Force (NOTAM) valley flying, unexpected technical difficulties with the helicopter, sickness of the flying crew, and delayed guest placement at the helipads.
