General Guidelines
From May through November, when the temple doors close for Diwali, the helicopter service for Kedarnath ji will be regularly run from our helipad at Phata. During the monsoon season, flights are typically not performed.
You will have four and a half hours (4 hours and thirty minutes) to return to Shri Kedarnath Ji on the same day, and devotees will need to buy a Priority Darshan slip. (Devotees of night halt are exempt.)
It is important to distinguish between reporting and boarding times. Boarding will occur up to one hour following the reporting time.
Although every attempt will be made to accommodate passengers in their own group, this is not always feasible since priority seats or weight adjustments must be made when planning the passenger load.
Only five kilograms of hand luggage per person will be permitted.
Only an adult passenger may accompany an infant on a trip. 10% of adult rates will be levied for infants under the age of two, while full fares will apply for those over two.
You can make an advance reservation by paying for the ticket in full.
If a passenger weighs more than 85 kg, they would be charged, but the company will still be able to keep their place on the Char Dham Yatra journey. The Phata Office will make this decision.
If weather or technical issues prevent the trip from being completed on a certain day, the company will make accommodations for the passengers on the next flight date.
Operations require consent from the Uttrakhand government.
