Air Travel to Char Dham Yatra: Covered Destinations
Yamnotri Ji: The helipad is located in Kharshali Village, and Yamunotri is the first stop on the four-day yatra by helicopter package. Yamuna (Yami), the river goddess, is the object of devotion at the temple. Yamuna Ji was worshipped for his purity and salvation.
The pilgrims think that bathing in the sacred Yamuna River waters close to the shrine will atone for their sins and prepare them for Moksha. The temple was built in the 1800s, and Yamunotri is where the Yamuna River originates.
Gangotri Ji: Gangotri is where the Ganga, one of the most important and revered rivers in Hinduism, originates. The goddess Ganga is worshipped at the Gangotri Temple. For pilgrims traveling by helicopter on the Chardham yatra, the Gangotri stopover is at Harshil Helipad.
Hindus believe that a single dip in the Ganges may cleanse you of all your sins. They also consider the Ganga's water to be the purest because it never deteriorates or smells bad.
Kedarnath Ji: One of the most revered and sacred Hindu temples devoted to Lord Shiva is Kedarnath Temple, which is located in Uttarakhand, India's Rudraprayag area. The elevation of the Kedarnath ji temple is approximately 3,583 meters above sea level.
Sirsi, Guptkashi, and Phata are the locations of the Kedarnath Helipad.
Out of the twelve Jyotirlingas, the primary one is considered to be the cosmic embodiment of Lord Shiva in Hindu mythology. After the Pandavas constructed the temple, Adi Shankaracharya devolved it in the eighth century AD. He spent years performing pooja and meditation there in order to achieve Moksha.
Badrinath Ji: The primary shrine in India Chardham, Badrinath Ji is devoted to the Lord Vishnu. At 3100 meters above sea level, it was founded by Shankaracharya Ji. The main attractions of the Badrinath yatra include the Helipad, which is one kilometer from the shrines, and the Maha Abhishek Pooja in the morning and the Shyan Aarti in the evening.
