Itinerary
Day 1: Barkot – Haridwar
Set out for Barkot, which is situated at the base of Yamunotri, this morning. Travel through Mussoorie and stop at Kempt Falls en route. Check into your camp or hotel as soon as you arrive in Barkot. Rest of the day is free to unwind and preserve your energy for the Pahad (hiII) Yatra of Yamunotri the next day. Dinner and lodging at Barkot for the night.
Day 2: Yamunotri – Barkot – Barkot
After breakfast, travel to Janki Chatti (8 km) and Hanumanchatti (40 km). The First Pahad Yatra of Yamunotri (6 km trek) will start here. For your trek, you can hire a horse or a Doli (Cost Not Included). The trail winds through an abundance of conifers, rhododendrons, cactus, and various kinds of Himalayan flora, as well as a verdant valley.
Day 3: Uttarkashi – Barkot
Drive to Uttarkashi after leaving the Barkot hotel after breakfast. Upon arriving, register at the hotel. Situated beside the Bhagirathi River, Uttarkashi is well-known for its historical sites, temples, and ashrams. See the Vishwanath Temple's aarti in the evening. Eat dinner and spend the night at Uttarkashi.
Day 4: Gangotri – Uttarkashi – Uttarkashi
After a hotel breakfast in the early morning, travel to Gangotri. Nestled in the majestic Garhwal Himalayas, Gangotri is set at an altitude of 3048 mts. When you go to Gangotri, take a sacred bath in the Ganges River, which is also known as Bhagirathi where it originates. See the Temple at Gangotri. The Ganga temple, built in the eighteenth century, is situated next to a hallowed stone where King Bhagirathi once worshipped Lord Shiva. This is the location where Ganga is said to have reached Earth. The temple is a magnificent white granite building that rises to a height of 20 feet. Drive back to Uttarkashi in the late afternoon after completing Pooja. Dinner and spending the night at Uttarkashi.
Day5: Guptkashi – Uttarkashi
Check out of the hotel after a hearty breakfast and head toward Guptkashi. Check into the hotel upon arrival. Get checked out later in preparation for your journey to Kedarnath the following day. Dinner and a night in the camps or hotel at Guptkashi.
Day 6: Kedarnath – Guptkashi – Guptkashi
Check out of the accommodation in the early morning after breakfast, then drive to Gaurikund. From whence, you will start your 17 kilometer walk to Kedarnath. For your trek, you can hire a horse or a Doli (Cost Not Included). One of the Ganges' principal tributaries, the Mandakini, rises in Kedarnath and passes through Gaurikund. The pilgrims trudging alongside you are singing "Jai Bholenath." Occasionally, the fog would cover the mountains and gradually lift, exposing a brilliant, dazzling white peak that seemed ready to burst the clouds. You will thereafter begin the 20-kilometer journey back from Kedarnath to Guptkashi. You will travel to your hotel from Guptkashi Car Parking, where the vehicles are waiting for you. Guptkashi for dinner and the night.
Day 7:Guptkashi – Badrinath
You leave the hotel this morning at 8:00 a.m. and travel via Joshimath to Badrinath. After going through some magnificent Ghat route you arrive at Badrinath. Upon arriving, register at the hotel. You are ready to head to the Badrinath Temple in the evening for darshan after getting some rest and refreshments. However, you must first visit Tapt Kund (Hot Spring), bathe, and then proceed to the temple. The temple of Shri Badrinath Ji, which is 15 meters high and devoted to Lord Vishnu, is constructed in the shape of a cone with a tiny dome shaped like a gilded bull and spire. Returning to the motel later. Dinner and a hotel stay for the night.
Day 8: Rudraprayag – Badrinath
Make your way to Badrinath Darshan this morning. Following Darshan, return to the hotel, have breakfast there, and then tour the nearby area of Badrinath by visiting Mana Village, Vyas Gufa, Ganesh Gufa, and the Mata Murti shrine. Driver returning via Karanprayag in the afternoon to Rudraprayag. A little pilgrim hamlet called Rudraprayag is located at the sacred confluence of the Mandakini and Alaknanda rivers. Check into the hotel upon arrival. You have the remainder of the day to explore Rudraprayag. Dinner and a hotel stay for the night.
Day 9: Haridwar, Rishikesh, and Rudraprayag
After breakfast in the morning, you take a car downhill to the world's capital of yoga, Rishikesh, a spiritual city. When you get to Rishikesh, you will go to Ram Jhula and Laxman Jhula as part of your sightseeing tour. Drive to Haridwar in the evening and drop off at the railway station.
