Itinerary
11 days and 10 nights in length
The following places were visited: Delhi, Haridwar, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Rudrapryag, Kedarnath, Badrinath, Rishikesh, and Delhi
Day 1: 210 km from Delhi to Haridwar and Rishikesh
Leave for Haridwar early in the morning, halt for lunch and begin the journey. After check-in, the evening is set aside for the magnificent and spiritual Aarti at Har ki Pauri Ganga. Night spend at hotel.
Day 2: 230 km from Haridwar to Barkot
Early in the morning, depart from Haridwar and have lunch en route to Mussoorie. It would take eight hours to reach Barkot after stopping at Kempty Falls en route. Register at the Yamunotri Road Camp. We will stay at the camp for the night.
Day 3: 32 km by car and 10 km by foot from Barkot to Yamunotri to Barkot
Drive the 32 km from Barkot to Hanuman Chatti early in the morning. To cut the distance by five kilometers, we will travel to Phool Chatti in a local vehicle. We shall pray and take a holy plunge at Yamunotri Temple before starting our Char Dham Yatra. Will head out for the camp in the evening and receive a body and mind-calming Ayurvedic massage. We will spend the night at Camp.
Day 4: 62 km from Barkot to Uttarkashi
The camp will depart for Uttarkashi after breakfast. After lunch in Uttarkashi, check into the camp. Evening designated for Vishwanath Temple. We will spend the night at camp after dinner.
Day 5: 105 km one way between Uttarkashi and Gangotri
We will go for Gangotri from the camp after eating breakfast. Upon arrival, they will offer prayers, enjoy a holy dip in the Ganga, and unwind under the radiant sun. The afternoon will be spent returning to camp, and the evening is set aside for Ganga Aarti. We will stay at the camp for the night.
Day 6: 260 km from Uttarkashi to Guptakashi
After breakfast at the camp, depart early in the morning for Guptakashi.On the banks of the Mandakini River lies Guptakashi. Check in at Camp, which is two kilometers in the direction of Gaurikund. We will spend the night at the camp after dinner.
Day 7: Helicopter ride from Guptakashi to Kedarnath
Travel by helicopter in the morning to Rudrapur Guptkashi Helipad in order to reach Kedarnath Ji, which is 3,500 meters above sea level.Members of the tour should bring personal medications and woolen clothing for Kedarnath due to the high altitude. Visit Kedarnath ji Darshan and Kedarnath Temple Pooja upon arrival. Will spend the night at the hotel and visit Adi Shankaracharya Samadhi, which is located behind the temple, in the evening according to the helicopter's scheduling.
Day 8: Guptakashi - Badrinath (180 Kms one way)
We are going to Badrinath after breakfast. The visit to the village of Mana will come after the holy darshan. The settlement of Mana is next to the border with Tibet. Evening pooja aarti in the temple of Badrinath. We will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 9: Rudarparyag - Badrinath (170 km one way)
We are going to head for Rudarparyag after breakfast. Spend the night in a hotel.
Day 10: 160 km from Rudarparyag to Haridwar
After breakfast, we will go early in the morning for Haridwar. We will make stops in Rishikesh and Devyprayag on the way back. We will spend the night at the hotel.
Day 11: Delhi - Haridwar (210 km)
We take the cable car to the Chandi Devi Temple after breakfast, and we leave for Delhi after lunch to continue our journey.
