Crucial Details
Terms & Conditions for Travel
SET FLIGHT TIMINGS: Since this is a daily fixed departure helicopter tour, there are set departure times for every location. In order to avoid being deemed NO SHOW, guests must make sure they arrive at the designated ETDs on each day of the tour.
COVID TRAVEL GUIDELINES: In accordance with the government's effective mandate, passengers and the helicopter company must follow COVID protocols. Passengers may be refused boarding without a refund if government regulations are not followed.
HELICOPTER WEIGHT LIMITATION: The helicopter's maximum weight, including baggage weight, is 450 kg. Depending on the load and temperature, passengers are brought on board. The pilot's decision is final. All passengers' combined weight must not exceed this cap. Therefore, while making a reservation, travelers must give us their precise weight.
PASSENGER WEIGHTS: When making a reservation, passengers must provide their accurate weights. The passenger or passengers will be deboarded and the Heli-tour will be canceled without any refund if a weight change from the provided weights is discovered during the trip and exceeds the 450 kg weight carrying capability of our aircraft.
Overweight fees are only charged per seat. Overweight fees are 2000 Indian rupees per kilogram. Passengers weighing more over 75 kg will be charged for this. However, excess weight will only be computed if it exceeds the total allowable weight of all group members combined, which is 75 kg x (number of passengers), as long as it does not exceed the helicopter's -overall weight limits.
Additionally, any disparity in the passengers' weights that would be billed in accordance with the overweight standards would be gathered before the flight was scheduled to depart.
BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE: Each person may only bring one piece of luggage, up to a maximum weight of five kilograms. Carrying suitcases or any other type of luggage on the helicopter is prohibited. As a result, on the day of arrival, our employees give duffle bags to every guest.
We retain the right to move passengers between helicopters in order to maintain the proper weight for safe flying in the hills because of the limited weight carrying capacity of our aircraft. As a result, it might not be possible to accommodate multiple people on the same helicopter flight.
DATE OF ARRIVAL: We reserve our Chardham 4N5D Heli-tours according to departure dates. Passengers must, however, get to Dehradun one day before the departure date. Our plan includes a complimentary overnight stay in Dehradun on the day of arrival, making it a 5-night/6-day tour. On the second day of the excursion, the actual flying starts.
SEATING CAPACITY: Our helicopters can accommodate a maximum of six passengers plus one crew member.
INFANTS: Free accommodations are provided for infants under two years old or weighing 12 kg. The child's ID or birth certificate will be examined in order to confirm the child's age.
DISCLAIMER OF BAD WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE
Bad weather and a variety of Force Majeure factors, such as delayed air traffic clearances or permissions, VVIP movements, valley flying by the Indian Air Force (NOTAM), unexpected technical issues with aircraft, crew illness, or passengers reporting late to the helipads, can all affect flying in hills. Therefore, in the event of such situations, passengers need to be ready to handle any eventuality and discomfort.

A separate room for one person will cost an additional INR 30,000 per person (VAT included).
All of the Dhams' hotels fall into the non-star category. However, for our Heli-tours, we have carefully chosen the most rated and pleasant accommodations.
In order to prevent inconvenience in the event that passengers become stranded at any of the destinations due to inclement weather or other force majeure situations, we highly urge our passengers to allow an extra day beyond the 2N3D period.
Additional Terms and Conditions

At every Dham, the Helicopter Company has its own crew. Passengers are welcome to contact them if they need any advice or help.
Harsil and Badrinath have very bad network connectivity. The two primary telecom providers that operate in these areas the most, though not always, are BSNL and Jio. Nonetheless, our employees will always be there to help the guests.
Due to the high altitude of all the temples in the Chardham area, travelers are urged to bring medication. Additionally, it is recommended that they bring heavy woolen clothing because the temperature might drop significantly in the evenings and at night.
MEDICAL EMERGENCIES: We shall not be responsible for any passengers' on-ground medical emergencies. Therefore, before starting the yatra, passengers are respectfully urged to see a doctor and have a medical examination completed for their own benefit. A traveler must get a medical examination primarily if they have a medical issue.
For safety reasons, people with mental illnesses of any kind, including depression and obsessive compulsive disorders, will not be permitted to travel.
The Helicopter Company's regulations concerning the terms of non-international carriage (passenger and baggage) are framed in accordance with the Carriage by Air Act, 1972, and the notification concerning the application of the non-international carriage. The provisions of sections 4, 5, and 6 as well as the regulations found in the second Schedule of Carriage by Air Act 1972, with certain exceptions, adaptations, modifications, etc., as notified in the Government of India, Ministry of Civil Aviation Notification and as amended from time to time, will govern the company's liability for damage sustained in the event that a passenger dies, is wounded, or suffers any other bodily injury while traveling by air.

If a rescheduling is requested fewer than 30 days before the trip, the reservation will be considered canceled, and a new reservation will be made based on availability and the relevant cancellation fees.
TERMS OF PAYMENT
50% of the entire price must be paid as a deposit when making the reservation in advance. The remaining amount must be deposited fourteen days before the arrival date in Dehradun. Until the tour's full and final payment is received, passengers will not be allowed to embark or begin the journey.
REFUNDS FOR BAD WEATHER AND FORCE MAJEURE:
Tour Cost: INR 15,000 per person for flight preparation and ground arrangement fees, less 25% of the overall tour cost for each underutilized travel sector (Dham).
Extra Services: In addition to the refundable tour cost, any extra services that are rendered at any of the Dhams while the passengers are on tour will be subtracted. Refunds for any unused services will not be added to the refundable amount and calculated separately.
A case of COVID-19 or any other state or national emergency:
There will not be any reimbursements if travelers test positive for COVID before their trip, the government cancels the Yatra, or a national or state emergency is declared.
However, in exchange for the advance payment, travelers will receive a Credit Voucher from eUttaranchal Travel Network that is good for a year. It can be applied against any of our helicopter excursions or charter services (for the entire amount of the credit voucher), by the passengers or any of their friends/relatives.
POLICIES RELATING TO BAD WEATHER AND FORCE:
If your flight is delayed or cancelled due to inclement weather, technical difficulties, or any other force majeure event outside of Helicopter Company's control, Helicopter Company will not be held responsible in any manner. Clients will receive their returns in accordance with our refund policy, nonetheless. The operator has no control over any inconvenience that may result from flight cancellations. If a flight is canceled, customers will not be compensated or reimbursed for any additional travel expenses they may have incurred, including lodging, transportation, meals, or other costs.
If, for the reasons listed above, the tour does not depart Dehradun on the first day, it will be deemed canceled, and a complete refund will be issued in accordance with our regulations. However, a new reservation can be made for the same date if the passengers would like to think about going on the tour on the next available date. The passengers will be presented with the possible options by our team.
It is possible to apply the balance or unused amount from the prior reservation to the new one. Additionally, passengers will be responsible for paying any additional expenses that may arise.
Our team will suggest a potential updated itinerary within the allotted package days, but without extending the number of days, in the event that the tour leaves Dehradun on time but is interrupted while it is in progress.
Passengers' proposals for package extensions will only be taken into consideration at an additional expense and based on operational viability.
According to our policies, travelers will receive a complete refund if there is no flight for five consecutive days.
Our main priority would be the new Chardham passenger or passengers due to depart from Dehradun on any given travel date, rather than the backlog of passengers from earlier days.
When passengers are stranded for more nights owing to inclement weather or other uncontrollable circumstances, they will be responsible for paying additional night halt fees directly to the hotels.
If there are strong winds, which frequently occur in the Harsil valley after 1200 hours, the helicopter might not be able to reach Harsil or Jhalla.
The party will be charged INR 100,000 if any passengers need ferry flights to be performed for them in an emergency.
If a group decides to cancel their tour in the middle of it, the helicopter company will arrange for transportation; however, the passengers will be responsible for paying for it directly.
Any increase in taxes or levies imposed by the government after the booking has been confirmed will result in additional fees for the passengers. The payment for the same must be paid prior to the tour starting.
DISPUTES The laws of Uttarakhand Jurisdiction shall govern any disputes pertaining to the validity, interpretation, application, performance, or terms and conditions of the service.
Reservations will be accepted if the party agrees to the terms and conditions listed above.
