Conditions & Terms Registering Online for the Char Dham Yatra in 2026
Uttarakhand The Char Dham Yatra (2026) will partially open to pilgrims from all over India. As of September 18, 2026, the primary guidelines listed below
Before applying for a Yatra e-pass, pilgrims must receive a negative report on their RTPCR, TrueNat, CBNAAT, and RAT test that was taken within the last 72 hours.
Please be prepared before utilizing the UCDDMB Portal to apply for Yatra E-Pass.
b) Aadhar card soft copy for uploading (in JPEG/PNG format, with a 50 KB maximum size limit).
c) Either a soft copy of the double vaccination certificate or a negative report from a test performed within the last 72 hours using RT-PCR, TrueNat, CBNAAT, or RAT.
Please indicate your preferred dates of visitation while applying for a Yatra e-pass.
After having the aforementioned reports accessible, you can apply for a Yatra E-Pass for the Char Dham Yatra (2021).
During the whole yatra, all types of documents uploaded on the portal must be carried in their original form.
All pilgrims must get a Yatra E-Pass, which may be applied for via the Uttarakhand Char Dham Devasthanam Management Board website.
A ticket may have up to six pilgrims added when using the Yatra e-Pass.
The Yatra e-pass will be valid for two days (counting from the day the pass was applied for darshan).
The Yatra e-pass that has been applied can only be used to visit the shrine; it cannot be used to visit any other surrounding locations or tracks, other than the temple.
General Yatra e-Pass Terms and Conditions
The pilgrim should refrain from visiting the shrine and should not apply for a Yatra e-pass if they experience any CORONA virus symptoms, such as fever, coughing, or dyspnea.
Every pilgrim must complete their thermal scan at the temple's entrance.
At the Temple entry, pilgrims will receive hand sanitizer to clean their hands.
Pilgrims are also required in order to upload address verification, applicant photo, and ID evidence.
Before entering the Temple, pilgrims should wash their hands and feet with soap.
It is highly recommended that pilgrims refrain from touching any idols while in the site.
It is recommended that pilgrims place their donations in the Daan Patra or Hundi donation box; however, internet donations are preferred.
During their visit to the shrine, pilgrims should refrain from interacting with children (under ten years old) and elderly people (over 65).
It is advised that women who are pregnant, children, pilgrims under the age of ten, and those above 65, stay away from the Char Dham Yatra.
Only the Darshan at the Temple during the Shrine visit is covered by this e-Pass.
The pilgrim's visit to the shrine, for which a Yatra e-pass has been applied, is also the responsibility of the local contact person, sponsor, or travel agency Heli Company. They may also give Devasthanam Board officials the necessary information.
False statements made when obtaining a Yatra e-Pass, visiting a shrine, or failing to follow instructions could lead to legal action under the Epidemic Diseases (Control) Act and other criminal crimes.
